In 2018, Dragone Realty Investments purchased Lynnhill Condominiums in Prince George’s County, Maryland. At that time, this multifamily residential building bore little resemblance to its current form as the Verona at Naylor Metro.

Over a period of roughly two years, Dragone invested $18.5 million to reposition the property in the market as a superior living environment that emphasizes beauty and safety. This required extensive masonry work and structural repairs that included the installation of a new emergency staircase. The building also features more energy-efficient windows and balcony doors as well as new balcony railings. Completely rewiring the building, electricians have outfitted it with a fully modern system complete with backup power generators.

Because the original Lynnhill Condominiums had no fire suppression system, Dragone installed a 300 GPM fire pump and sprinkler system. It also replaced the building’s existing elevators, HVAC system, parking lot, and roof, making many improvements in each. For example, it replaced a leaking gravel roof with a state of the art TPO (thermoplastic polyolefin) roof.
